Scholarship Opportunities

Preeti Menon Schoolarship 26'

1. Applicant must be currently enrolled as a high school senior in one of the following Georgia and South Carolina counties: Beaufort, Bryan, Chatham, Effingham, Jasper, Liberty, Long or McIntosh.
2. Applicant must intend to major at an ABET accredited university in engineering, computing, or engineering technology program.
3. Applicant must be able to provide proof of enrollment if chosen as a scholarship recipient for the coming academic year, starting in the fall.
4. Applicant must identify as a woman.
5. Application must be emailed and/or postmarked by April 30th, 2026.

Phil Bennett Memorial Scholarship

The Georgia Collectors Association offers up to $1,500 in scholarship(s) each year divided among selected qualifying candidate(s). This scholarship is offered to high school seniors, college students, or those attending vocational training and are Georgia residents.

Abbott and Fenner Scholarship Program

Abbott & Fenner Business Consultants are pleased to be able to continue with our scholarship program for the 20th year. We will be awarding $1,000 to the winner(s) each year.

Touchdown Academy Grant Application

Robert G. Porter Scholars Program

The program offers four 4-year, $8,000 post-secondary scholarships to students who are dependents of AFT members, as well as 10 one-time $1,000 grants to AFT members to assist with their continuing education and/or fund their proposed ideas to strengthen and grow their union.
